DecibelLk: Tell us about your newest drop ‘Duwani’
Mihindu : This song is the brainchild of Manuranga Wijesekera and is something he wrote a while back and held close to his heart . It’s about a guy who is happy for his ex who just had a daughter with her husband. He remembers how they dreamt of having a daughter back when they were going out. The melody and music was done by Ashan Fernando and the mixing and mastering was done by Vinod Melpitiya.
DecibelLk: Is this another single release?
Mihindu: This will most probably be a single release but when I do an album, I might include this in it too. Still haven’t given thought to it yet though.
DecibelLk: Got more singles coming up with year?
Mihindu: I’ve got about 3 or 4 more songs lined up with videos to be released. I came into this field through rock music. So I’m planning to release one or 2 rock/metal songs too. At the same time, as a part of my band Wayo, all of us are working on the band’s next single.
