The YES Home Grown Special: Kandy
it’s not everyday a commercial radio station goes out of its way to promote local talent, but when YES101 does,..you know they’d be bringing out a lot of the newer names! For the 3rd consecutive year…This Friday evening (7-8pm) will be dedicated to 4 names from Kandy and it’s neighboring region, Kurunegala…you could either tune in to YES101 or 100.8 and check out the 4 names – Forsaken (pioneers of thrash metal from Kandy), Ancient Curse, Thricona (pioneer of edm from Kurunegala) & Daffy Maestro (pioneer of chill & ambient music from Kandy). or just drop by the YES101 studio at The Kandy City Center.
