Decibel Exclusive : Plecto Aliquem Capite – Parasomnia

Sri Lanka : The tropical beauty that it is, isn’t a place where you think you’d find a suicidal, depressive black metal noise project but hey, Plecto Aliquem Capite exists and have for over 6 years creating more sonic chaos than you could ever wrap your head around.

Their first Ep was yonks ago and the not too distant future will see their second record drop (August is a previously mentioned month / depending on if they find a decent label); The first single ‘Parasomnia’ produced by Kasun Nawarathne, sees a very quintessential PAC sound though we have to admit, there’s a lack of the usual angry energy on part of frontman Buddhika Karunasekara but this is not to say that it disappointing – its a twisted sort of anger with menacing laughter and hey, this does grow on you.

While we are yet to hear that ‘industrial’ sound, this is the first release and we welcome this with proper – pushing the volume to M.A.X.

We recommend it, if you ever have been a fan of this brilliant band!
