From the land of too many Cricket Anthems comes another refreshing original that could be deemed as an anthem for this year because of Ashanthi alone. Now, lets face it..there aren’t too many females that dare to do a single cuz of all the criticism that comes with doing one for being overly pop-ish or being generic or for it being sung in one language but this single strikes the perfect balance between a good pop guilty pleasure and playing it safe with the whole patriotic feel. Plus the Wannama chants by her adds to the feel good factor of the song. This ladies and gentlemen IS a winner in our books this year!
