Here’s all you need to know

Based on the novel by Gaston Leroux, the production features Webbers soaring musical score with songs and music familiar to almost every theater enthusiast.


Directed by Jerome L. De Silva, Musical Direction by Surein de S. Wijeyeratne and with Shanuki de Alwis as the Director Choreography, the production features some of Colombo’s most outstanding talent, with a spectacular array of lighting and special effects to amaze and entertain Colombo’s theatre lovers.

This will be the 3rd successive year that The Workshop Players stage musical by Lloyd Webber, having enjoyed both critical acclaim and box office success with Jesus Christ Superstar in 2013 and Evita in 2012.

The production team for The Phantom includes Thushan Dias, Gihan Jayatilleke, Rohan Jayatilleke (Lighting & Special Effects), Ranga Dassanayake (Music) and Jojo (Costumes).

The play runs from the 1st till to the 12th of October (Excluding the 8th October – Poya).

 

Update: 

The box office at Lionel Wendt is open during the following hours:
Weekdays: 9.00 a.m to 12.45 p.m and 2.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m
Weekends: 10.00 a.m to 12.00 noon and 2.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m

Matinee shows will be held on the 4th, 5th, 10th and 11th at 3.30 pm.
