The Last 5 Years: Review
Its been a while since we did a review of anything but hey, here’s to a fresh start.
So we went to see “The Last 5 Years” on the opening night (yesterday) and this is what we have to say..this musical is everything but regular. We give this – the ultimate Awesome-dary rating!
At first, it was a little confusing but after 10 minutes, we got the reason why this had its moments of past & present life captures..we wish we would have paid a little more attention to the screen on the right side. This is almost very new theater experience and please, do pay attention to the screen that way, you wont end up like us.
we love how for the first time in our experience in SL, there was musicians playing the backing music live, you read that word “LIVE”. It gave the musical a lot more life and there’s something very nice, warm and almost enriching about it.
Asitha Tennekoon & Anushka Senanayake‘s performance was just too good.
