Songs To Get You By The Worst Commercial Season
This list exists for a reason and it’s pretty self explanatory at this time of the year. This is only a ‘get by’ kinda top 5 and Note of caution: This stuff can get you very, very sober.
5. Elsz – Stone And The Tree
Natasha Nathanielsz, Maarion Elsz and now, known as Elsz..this singer, songwriter, harpist & producer has a ton of brilliant picks but this one deserves a noteworthy mention due to its spiritual undertones.
Simple, yet profound stuff that day dreams are made of.
4. Christian Q & Shokstix – Finish The Fight (A Tribute To Halo)
Nothing says ”Hello, Life’, than a pull and a serious want for gaming and this remix of the Halo theme by Trance producers Christian Q & Shokstix should get you back on some serious track.
Listen to this, loud…preferably with headphones.
3. Stigmata – Lucid
Off the band’s 2nd full length album ‘Silent Chaos Serpentine’ which will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary, this pick is almost very grounding, mentally.
2. Powercut Circus – Red Spit
Everyone needs a dose of reality sometimes and words of serious pondering and this is THAT pensive, broody perspective from another band that were pretty big during the late 2000’s.
- Hollow Point Halo – Blackeyed Lullaby
This pick comes from a band that we wish were still around. A TNL staple at one point in time, this gem from 2004 is about rising up from abuse.
1.1 Iraj & Layzie Bone (Bone Thugs N Harmony) Ft peshala & Kaizer – Manusatha
Because as a nation, we have bigger problems than figuring out if Lassana Flora or Kapruka would be better choices for romance points.
