Seer : Death Sight – A Look Into The All New Web Series

This all new web series got dropped on facebook last Friday and has been gaining momentum pretty fast. We caught up with one of the executive producers & series editor, Ray Matrenstyn for a quick q & a on Seer : Death Sight.

DecibelLk: Tell us about this brand new series

Ray Martenstyn: Seer: Death Sight is a sci-fi action web series, starring Joey Ansah (The Bourne Ultimatum) and Christian Howard (Street Fighter: Assassin’s fist). Together with Executive producers Udana Fonseka and myself, it’s written &  directed by Sandun Seneviratne and is under the banner Grindout Productions, a Sri Lankan production and distribution company.

Seer: Death Sight takes place in a future where humans gifted with psychic abilities called ‘Indigos’ are hated and feared by normal people. Powerful corporations exploit these Indigos by surgically enhancing their natural gifts and making them do their bidding.

DecibelLk: When is the next episode out and how long is this going to be running for?

DecibelLk: Who’s part of the cast?

Ray Martenstyn: It stars Joey Ansah, Christian Howard, Eleanor Adams, Tsuwayuki Saotome, Robert Finlay, Anita Koh and Michelle Liu.

If you find the actors in Death Sight familiar, it’s because Joey Ansah played an assassin in The Bourne Ultimatum where he tracks and fights Matt Damon on the rooftops in Morocco. His stunt team also choreographed a brilliant action/martial arts sequence for us on a small budget.

Ansah has also played the villain opposite John Cusack in The Numbers Station and appeared in smaller roles in several films including Snow White and the Huntsman He also wrote, directed and starred in the popular Web series Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist and its sequel TV series Street Fighter: Resurrection. In Street Fighter, he plays the main villain ‘Akuma’.

Christian Howard who plays bad guy ‘Kano’ in Seer: Death Sight appears as the the main character ‘Ken’ in the series ‘Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist’ and ‘Street Fighter: Resurrection’.

Tsuwayuki Saotome who plays another villain has appeared in ‘London has Fallen’, the sequel to ‘Olympus Has Fallen,’ opposite Gerard Butler.
