Iraj’s Next Release Is South East Asia’s Biggest
And we’re glad it has to be one of us that’s gonna be making the record for not only having the biggest but also the most expensive album to date produced by a Lankan producer.
This monster is a 12 track, collaba heavy featuring talent from quite a few countries – India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Germany, Europe & America. Speaking to us exclusively over the phone Iraj shared quite a few things with us.
YY: What would you say is your favorite song from the entire album?
Iraj: The track I do with Chingy as it’s got a few personal things to it.
YY: Would this album be available for pre-order?
Iraj: Since Universal India is interested in releasing it, possibilities are yes and it would also be available thru outlets like itunes
YY: Who would you say were the easiest artists were to work with?
Iraj: Tony T (Rio) & Big Reeno (strangely enough, that rhymes doesn’t it?)
YY: Would you be featuring any home artists?
Iraj: BK would be dropping a verse or two on it as he is to date one of my personal favorite rappers from the scene.
YY: Do spill on the tracks that will be getting released in succession
Iraj: The first one would be “Get Gone” featuring Luca Dayz & Europe’s Carlprit
the second one would be “U & Me”, the big single with Sean Kingston, Bohemia, Janani & Sonu Kakkar
third would be “Dance” and like I said, this features Chinggy (hey, who doesnt know him for “Right Thurrr?)
fourth single would feature Snoop Lion and the 5th would have Nas all over it, now that you’re really paying attention Sri Lanka..I think you cant wait a lil longer for the rest of the announcements =)
