News : All You Need To Know About The Pem Kekula NFT

The 5th of November 2021 saw the island’s biggest collaboration for that year, and it was by Dj & Producer Mass, featuring singer Romaine Willis & rapper Apzi. It was everything Sri Lanka never expected sonically, a fun festival EDM sound, amalgamated with playful rap and the saccharine laced recreation of those nostalgic lines, from the iconic movie song ‘Pem Keukula Pipi’ (by the late Mr. Ananda Samarakoon).

The single ‘Pem Kekula’ and its music video took over by storm, creating its own riot on TikTok, YouTube and all over the Lankan social mediasphere. From plenty of reaction videos to becoming a radio hit nationally, to a must have party anthem & a wedding staple, this single is now ready to become the next best version of itself- A Music Non Fungible Token!

NFT’s are slowly taking over, and in a world where owning a piece of music history is gold like Vinyls, CDs & memorabilia, NFT’s stand to be superior in terms of non perishability and with value exceeding over time.

Here’s DJ Mass with all you need to know
