About 

‘The festival will be held at the Viharamahadevi open air theatre during April and May 2016 from 7:00pm onwards.

The order of the 03 plays will be as follows;

A Midsummer Night’s Dream (28th & 29th April)
Directed by Amayaa Wijesinghe, Lehan Thomas, Leyanvi Mirando, and Tanika Fernando

The Merchant of Venice (07th & 8th May)
Directed by Javin Thomas

Othello (14th & 15th of May)
Directed by Jerome de Silva and Nadishka Aloysius

The plays will be presented consecutively for a running period of two days each, allowing for maximum patronage from interested students, theatre goers and general public across the Island, totaling to a 6-day run for the whole festival.

Food & drink stalls along with texts, scripts and educational items would be available throughout the festival.

Entrance to the festival will be FREE!
