Gehan Cooray (Baritone) and Soundarie David Rodrigo (on Piano) will treat you to a musically and dramatically rich programme ranging from the grand operatic works of Mozart and Puccini to the showstoppers of such beloved musicals as ‘My Fair Lady’, ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Camelot’, ‘Annie’ and others!!

Of special interest to cinema buffs will be songs from the silver screen such as ‘Where Do I Begin?’ (Theme from ‘Love Story’) and Jerome Kern’s ‘The Way You Look Tonight’, as well as perennial favorites of all music lovers such as ‘Plaisir d’amour’, Rukmani Devi’s ‘Olu malehi sudo sudo’, and ‘Strangers in the Night’, on top of all the Broadway numbers!

Tickets for this concert can be purchased at the Bishops College Auditorium. All proceeds from the show will go toward the Ostomy Association of Sri Lanka, which works tirelessly to address the needs of patients living with stoma surgeries and ostomy bags.

The guest artists for this concert are Dinushka Jayawickreme (Soprano), Menaka de Fonseka Sahabandu (on Piano) and veteran actress Angela Seneviratne.

Main artist Gehan Cooray just completed his first feature film – ‘The Billionaire’ – his very own adaptation of a play by George Bernard Shaw. The film is currently in post-production, and features the lead actress of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (Heather Tom) who has won multiple Emmy Awards as Best Actress.
