DecibelLk: About your single ‘Champ Is Here’

Player*: I’ve used an internet instrumental because I don’t have money to pay for producers. I’ve used the title ‘Champ Is Here’ because I’ve won talent shows in Kandy back in my school days, so it’s just a message to the people saying that Champ Is Here. We have planned a video for it waiting for a sponsorship to kick in so that it would give a chance to talented individuals to come up in life and understand their own courage. From this single my plan is to change the Hip Hop culture in Sri Lanka, because we don’t live in U.S.A., we don’t have that luxury life and we can’t bring that same culture, so with this single & video I’m trying to just wake up the real motivated people who’d love to be a success in life, so that we could hold hands together as one to rise up, make Sri Lanka come up in Music industry and to take it to the whole world.
