Introducing German-born professional cellist Ruben Jeyasundaram, the Chamber Music Society of Colombo’s new guest solo cellist, he along with Ramya de Livera Perera, piano and Lakshman Joseph-de Saram, violin will perform Felix Mendelssohn’s celebrated Piano Trio no. 1 in d minor, op. 49 and a delightful selection of Cello-centric repertoire, including Gabriel Faure’s Apres un reve and music by Camile Saint-Saëns.

Tickets are available at the Goethe-Institut, 39 Gregory’s Road, Colombo 07, weekends included. Rs.1000 unreserved.
