‘Anuradhapura Central College Past Pupils’ Association Colombo Branch was formed in the year 1989 with the primary objective of providing support to a limited number of talented poor and needy children who are entering to the college for their secondary education and even move on to their tertiary education. Since the project commenced, the contributions of our members and well wishes, the said scholarship fund was established and as for now, a fixed deposit maintained at the Regional Development Bank Anuradhapura Branch. The interest of the fixed deposit is used to provide the scholarships. Due to the low interest rates given by the commercial banks, we were compelled to reduce the number of scholarships since the near past. It resulted to find immediate options to increase the fund, as the number of children who are genuinely expecting are increasing yearly.

This musical extravaganza, which would be performed by few of the world renown local singers such as Bathiya Jayakody, Santhush Weeraman, Kasun Kalhara, Umariya Sinhawansha, & Samitha Mudunkotuwa with Music Director Suresh Maliyadde’s music targeting an audience with a Superior Musical satisfaction. It would consist of the best of the best of their songs.’
